FEAT Canada: Sunday, 12 February 2012

Speakers at the second FEAT Canada were Hayley Shephard, Michael Schratter, Anders Ourom, Shawn Leclair, Ryan Leech, Ryan Pogue, Mandy-Rae Krack, Ryley Breiddal, and JD Hare. They spoke on the topics of arctic paddling, cycling around the world, climbing, adventure racing, athlete mindset, outrigger canoeing, freediving, hiking from Canada to Mexico and extreme skiing. This FEAT event was held in North Vancouver on Sunday, 12 February 2012.

FEAT Canada: Tuesday, 15 November 2011

Speakers at the Inaugural FEAT Canada were Jen Olson, Scott Frandsen, Sebastian Salas, Nicki Rehn, Paul Gleeson, Philip McKernan, Megan Rose, Gary Robbins and Kevin Vallely. They spoke on the topics of opening climbing, olympic rowing, cycling, ultra running, ocean rowing, accomplishing FEATs, mountain biking, running and polar expeditions. This FEAT event was held in North Vancouver on Tuesday, 15 November 2011.

FEAT Jo’burg: Thursday, 6 October 2011

Speakers at this third edition of FEAT were Andy de Klerk, Craig Egberink, Gerard Finnemore, Grant Baker, Kim van Kets, Kobus Bresler, Marian Penso, Ross Tucker and Simon Gear. They spoke on the topics of opening climbing routes, endurance horse racing, post-expedition psychology, big-wave surfing, multidiscipline circumnavigation, microadventures, mountain bike expedition, endurance sports science and Earth appreciation. This FEAT event was held in Jo’burg on Thursday, 6 October 2011.

FEAT Cape Town: Saturday, 12 February 2011

Speakers at FEAT Cape Town were Allyson Towle, Marc Booysen, Benita de Witt, Braam Malherbe, Hanli Prinsloo, Johnny Cronje, Monde Sitole, Nick Bennett, Peter van Kets and Tatum Prins. Disciplines represented in this second edition of FEAT included long-distance running, tall ship sailing, sea-to-summit expeditions, ocean rowing, unicycling, survivor-style experiences and adventure racing. Related topics also featured included social initiatives, barefoot running and freediving. MC extraordinaire, Max Cluer, was the MC for the night. This FEAT event was held at Artscape Theatre in Cape Town on Saturday, 12 February 2011.

FEAT Jo’burg: Thursday, 7 October 2010

The very first edition of FEAT took place at Wits Theatre in Braamfontein, Jo’burg. The event was sold out two weeks before! The speaker roster included Alex Harris, Andrew Kellet, Cobus van Zyl, Darron Raw, Julian Dallamore, Kyle Meenehan, Mandy Ramsden, Marianne Schwankhart, Mike Blyth, Peter van Kets, Pierre Carter and Ray Chaplin. Disciplines represented by the speakers included mountaineering, polar travel, river kayaking, long distance running & walking, rock climbing, mountain running, paragliding, sea kayaking and ocean rowing. Related topics covered communication technology, sponsorships and the making of adventure films. Legendary ultra runner, Bruce Fordyce, was the MC for the night.
